What's Nuevo tracks what's opening — the new restaurants, cocktail bars, nightlife spots, and events that actually move the city's food and going-out scene forward. Not every opening makes the radar: no fast food, no basic strip-mall stuff. If it wouldn't excite a local or a visitor, it doesn't get in.

Where the picks come from
We monitor the sources that cover this city well — local food and nightlife press, opening announcements, the scene itself — and every candidate gets a human look before it's published. The radar is curated, not scraped-and-dumped.
The weekly issue
Every Thursday we still publish a hand-picked issue: the weekend's best food, drinks, outdoor stops, and date nights, written like a tip from a well-informed friend. The radar is the database; the issue is the edit.
